Cam Moll (b. 2002) recently graduated from Luther College in Decorah, IA with a degree in Vocal Music Education and minors in Spanish and Musical Theatre. A graduate of a vibrant and rigorous Music Education undergraduate program under the direction of Dr. Jill Wilson, Cam studied a variety of disciplines in Music Education under the teachings of Dr. Jill Wilson, Dr. Mark Potvin, Dr. Andrew Last, Dr. Juan Tony Guzmán, and Prof. Claire Martin. Cam also sang in and served as the tenor 1 section leader in the renowned Nordic Choir under the direction of Dr. Andrew Last, and served in student leadership roles with the a cappella group Undeclared and Luther Ringers, the campus' handbell ensemble, serving as artistic director. Cam also frequently performed in musicals produced by Luther's Visual and Performing Arts department and taught 2nd and 3rd grade music at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School in nearby Spillville, Iowa. While at Luther, Cam worked a variety of jobs on campus, including as a digital media technician and serving as the Team Lead for Music Recruitment in the admissions department. Cam also conducted a church choir at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lanesboro, MN while in college. Cam studied voice with Lynne Rothrock, piano with Dr. Xiao Hu, organ with Dr. Alexander Meszler, vocal coaching and collaborative piano with Dr. Nicholas Shaneyfelt, and composition with Amy Nam and Dr. Brooke Joyce.
Cam graduated from Luther in December 2025, after completing student teaching placements at Nuevas Fronteras Spanish Immersion Elementary School in St. Paul Park. MN and Jefferson High School in Bloomington, MN. This spring, he will serve as a long-term substitute music specialist at Wildwood Elementary School in Mahtomedi, MN. For the 2026-27 school year, Cam will seek full-time employment in the Twin Cities area, as well as possible supplemental work as a church musical and/or music director/pit orchestra conductor for theatre productions. Cam will be certified to teach K-12 vocal and general music in Iowa and Minnesota, with primary areas of interest being in middle and high school choir and musical theatre. In his free time, Cam enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
