Cam Moll (b. 2002) is actively pursuing a degree in Vocal Music Education at Luther College in Decorah, IA, with minors in Spanish and Musical Theatre. He will graduate in the Fall of 2025. A participant of a vibrant and rigorous Music Education undergraduate program under the direction of Dr. Jill Wilson, Cam studies a variety of disciplines in Music Education under the teachings of Dr. Jill Wilson, Dr. Mark Potvin, Dr. Andrew Last, Dr. Juan Tony Guzmán, and Claire Martin. Cam sings in and serves as the tenor 1 section leader in the renowned Nordic Choir under the direction of Dr. Andrew Last, and serves in student leadership roles with the a cappella group Undeclared and Luther Ringers, the campus' handbell ensemble, serving as artistic director. Cam also frequently performs in musicals produced by Luther's Visual and Performing Arts department and actively teaches 2nd and 3rd grade at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School in nearby Spillville, Iowa. Cam works a variety of jobs on campus, working as a digital media technician and serving as the Team Lead for Music Recruitment in the admissions department. Cam also conducts a church choir at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lanesboro, MN. Cam studies voice with Lynne Rothrock, piano with Dr. Xiao Hu, organ with Dr. Alexander Meszler, vocal coaching and collaborative piano with Dr. Nicholas Shaneyfelt, and composition with Amy Nam and Dr. Brooke Joyce.
After completing student teaching in the fall of 2025 and earning his Music Education degree, Cam will seek full-time employment in the Minneapolis, MN or Madison, WI areas, as well as possible supplemental work as a church musical and/or music director/pit orchestra conductor for theatre productions. Cam will be certified to teach K-12 vocal and general music, with primary areas of interest being in middle and high school choir and musical theatre. In his free time, Cam enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
